Dexterity Games
Although sometimes strength matters
This is where we get the closest to actually hitting someone in the head with a halibut.
Dex games are based on actual physical prowess. Flicking, balancing, stacking, something where you actually do something and physics get involved. Pool, billiards, darts, and things that touch the border of being actual sports. I’m guessing the first Dex game people come in contact with is probably BlockHead. Or maybe Operation if you go all hi tech on it.
Crokinole is a game in my house that probably has more hours played than the next 700 games I own combined. Because it’s awesome. It plays like Pool for people who can’t fit a pool table in their house. You flick little discs with your finger.
That sounds stupid, doesn’t it?
Yes, it is. All games are inherently pretty silly at some level. But this is a fantastic game where there’s actually a lot of thinking and strategy involved in addition to the physical prowess of having the best flicking finger.
TLDR: Actual physical skill required.
